I've been up to lots since I last blogged but I may as well start fresh with the here and now.
I've got a couple of products I'm playing around with at the moment, one is a 'door stopper', this little item is attached to the two handles on a door and forms a little barrier so the door can't quite close. Its perfect for sleeping babies, we all know that a baby can sleep through a barking dog, someone vacuuming and a even a loud party but if their bedroom door has the quietest of 'clicks' to open, they are awake like a shot! This little padded item should help that and it is also useful to stop a crawling toddler from trapping their tiny fingers. Another use I thought of was during toilet training it could be put on the toilet door to stop it being closed fully and/or locked.
The second item I'm looking at making and currently perfecting is little hanging tags made of baked clay. I have various shapes which I intend to add lettering to. So far I have quite a few baby related shapes, a key shape (I'll stamp on it 'new home' or home sweet home'), Christmas shapes and various sized circles. They can be used as gift tags (easy to write on), hung off a bureau key or Christmas tree or what I think I may do with my practice ones is paint a branch white, attach it to a block of wood and hang Easter egg shaped ones from it.....all very twee on a tree.
This month taking part in #marchmeetthemaker on Instagram. This involves each day for the month of March adding a photograph with that days theme for example Day 1-Brand Image, Day2-You, Day3-Workspace etc. I've quite enjoyed seeing everyone else's photos and learning about them and how they were inspired. I've now got quite a few new followers too. I hope I can keep this going until the 31st.
And I hope I can blog a lot more too.
